As part of Research and Innovation Week, the regional center of excellence Energie 2020, in partnership with Innocold, ULCO laboratories, and the Ecole des Mines de Douai, is organizing the conference "Energy, cooling, and storage: new applications for industry" on November 24 at the Halle aux Sucres in Dunkirk.
This event aims to bring together manufacturers and scientists to discuss topics such as electrocalorie, cryopreservation, oxy-combustion, heat exchange, and biogas recovery.
These topics will be presented by faculty members (who will be available for further discussion throughout the afternoon).
The day's schedule:
-2:00 p.m.: Welcome and refreshments
-2:30 p.m.: Introductory remarks by Damien Carême (Vice President of the Urban Community of Dunkirk in charge of Ecological and Social Transformation and Mayor of Grande-Synthe)
General presentation of ULCO and its professional training and research promotion services, as well as SATT Nord (Société d’Accélération du Transfert de Technologie) by Norbert Benamou, president of SATT Nord.

-Electrocalorie
-Cryopreservation
-Oxycombustion
-Energy recovery from biogas
– Intensification of transfers in heat exchangers and industrial processes
(All punctuated by interactive question-and-answer sessions between researchers and the audience after each video)
-Presentation of two flagship projects in the Dunkirk area: Innocold and Euraénergie
-5:30 p.m.: Closing cocktail reception, networking opportunity for interested parties
