
The 2018 AMI VALORISATION SHS, co-financed by I-SITE ULNE and SATT Nord, aims to highlight any innovation project arising from social sciences and humanities research conducted by laboratories belonging to the I-SITE Université Lille Nord-Europe consortium.The projects funded must address social or societal issues or be related to an economic activity.
1. Objectives
- Identify recent research results that may be appropriate for use by civil society, the
public sector, or the economic sector through one-time or recurring economic exploitation.
Promote projects with a social, societal, or sustainable development focus that do not necessarily involve technological innovation; eligible projects are those that- Test the uses and feasibility of research hypotheses;
- Facilitating connections with the right stakeholders, structuring partnerships (role of SATT Nord);
- Provide stakeholders with the necessary means to adapt the results to the relevant uses selected.
2. Targets
- Members of teams from the I-SITE Lille-Nord Europe consortium in humanities and social sciences
- Possibility of multidisciplinary partnerships, including outside the social sciences and humanities.
3. Terms and conditions
The project duration is between 6 and 8 months.
Amount: subsidy of up to €30,000 (SATT and/or I-SITE)
Eligible expenses are personnel expenses (including interns), operating expenses and small
equipment, services (market research, etc.).
4. Evaluation
A jury will be appointed by the funders and will evaluate the projects according to three criteria:
- Originality and quality of the project;
- Expertise of the sponsor, consistency of any partnerships;
- Potential impact of the project, whether economic, social, cultural, or societal.

6. Schedule
- AMI launch: October 18, 2018
- Information and discussion meeting: November 6, 2018, at 5 p.m. at MESHS (room 2)
- Submission of applications: no later than November 20, 2018, by email to aapshs@sattnord.fr
- Decision at the end of December 2018
