Cancéropôle Nord-Ouest, Normandie Valorisation, and SATT Nord are joining forces to identify, advise, and finance your projects with economic development potential in the field of oncology and support you in transferring them to industry by launching a call for expressions of interest entitled "Promoting research in the field of oncology" ONCOBooster.
The oncology ecosystem, which is highly dynamic at the academic level in France, is attracting significant industrial interest. Due to its specific characteristics, it is particularly interesting to combine networks, expertise, and investment capacities for the benefit of oncology research projects. Aware of the challenges and in order to contribute, within the framework of their respective missions, to supporting and accelerating innovation in oncology in the Hauts-de-France and Normandy regions, Cancéropôle Nord-Ouest, Normandie Valorisation, and SATT Nord, building on their existing partnerships, are jointly launching the ONCOBooster call for expressions of interest to promote the development and transfer of innovative interregional projects to industry.
This AMI is intended for projects involving at least one research team in each of the Normandy and Hauts-de-France regions.
This call for proposals is open to any researcher or hospital practitioner or consortium of researchers, hospital practitioners, and paramedical staff.
This call concerns diagnostic and prognostic approaches, medical devices, preventive and therapeutic approaches, as well as humanities and social science aspects of oncology. It is open to all types of transfer (start-up projects, licenses, transfer of know-how, products, etc.).
Projects related to CNO initiatives, and more specifically structural financing, will be given special consideration.
Depending on the project's level of development, a customized roadmap defining the project's support and financing will be defined in consultation between the CNO, NV, SATT Nord, and the project leader.
This call for expressions of interest is open from December 12, 2022, to April 30, 2023, inclusive, and will be reviewed by a pre-selection committee comprising Normandie Valorisation, SATT Nord, and Cancéropôle Nord-Ouest. Following this committee meeting, which will take place in the month after the call for proposals closes, the pre-selected projects will be reviewed with Normandie Valorisation or SATT Nord (depending on the geographical location of the project leader) in order to draw up a detailed description of the project, which will then be submitted to the respective decision-making bodies.
