The COVID pandemic has demonstrated France's limitations and highlighted its dependencies, particularly in the area of healthcare. The government has made the France 2030 program a priority in order to support our research efforts and provide them with the best possible support so that they can have an impact and provide society with innovative solutions that meet public health needs. These efforts, combined with the emergence of new technologies applied to the field of healthcare, such as artificial intelligence, robotics, sensors, medical devices, biotherapies, and personalized medicine care pathways, should help provide solutions to tackle cancer, which remains one of the leading causes of death worldwide.
In addition, the oncology ecosystem, which is very dynamic at the academic level in France, is attracting significant industrial interest.
Aware of these challenges and in order to contribute, within the framework of their respective missions, to supporting and accelerating innovation in this field, SATT Sayens, Conectus SATT Nord, and Cancéropôle Est, building on their partnership established on June 20, 2020, are launching a Call for Expressions of Interest (CEI). The objective of this AMI is to identify and support innovative projects emerging from academic research in their region, through the various stages of their development until their transfer to the socio-economic world, in order to meet the challenges and needs for innovation in the field of oncology.
