The "9th THz Days" and the annual meeting of the "RDA Nano Tera MIR" will take place in Dunkirk (France) from June 13 to 15.
The aim of this conference is to bring together the European scientific community working in the field of terahertz (THz) waves to discuss the latest advances and new directions to be pursued. We will take advantage of this event to highlight all the national startups and SMEs in the field so that they can present their products and expertise, which are sometimes unique. Very active in research and development, these young companies are vectors of highly skilled jobs. It also appears that the field of application for THz waves is constantly expanding, and these waves are likely to become the solution to meet the growing bandwidth needs of tomorrow's telecommunications networks. A world-first demonstration of high-speed transmission using THz waves will be presented during this event.
During this event, SATT Nord is organizing a pitch session on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with the participation of Vmicro, I2s, NeTHIS, Lytid, and T-Waves, as well as presentations of research work by the Fraunhofer Institute and the Phlam laboratory.
