See you at rev3days: the first international business convention dedicated to the third industrial revolution
On February 9 and 10, more than 250 French and international companies at the forefront of sustainable development and digital technology will meet for B2B meetings, plenary conferences, thematic workshops, company visits, and more, with a view to developing their activities in France and abroad. Four themes will be at the heart of the discussions: energy, the circular economy, additive manufacturing, and smart cities.
The Hauts-de-France region, a pioneer of the third industrial revolution, aims to be a driving force in accelerating the rollout of projects for businesses and local areas.
A closing conference will be held on Friday, February 10, on the theme "Technological prospects in relation to rev3."
We are entering a responsible economy that is increasingly concerned with striking a balance between economic considerations, environmental issues, and societal progress.
How can we move from the current model, which focuses on low-cost technological advances without regard for environmental impacts, to a responsible model that makes sense and takes into account changing practices in order to address these three issues?
First round table: Vision of technological advances over the next five years
Second round table: How can environmental and societal dimensions be integrated into the world of research, given the economic reality? Is it possible to conduct research with a focus on CSR?
Speakers: Alain Storck, President (UTC Compiègne), Pierre Giorgini, President – Rector (Catholic University of Lille), David Simplot-Ryl, Director (INRIA Lille), Sandrine Rousseau, Vice-President (University of Lille 1)
SATT Nord, a partner in this event, will present projects developed by laboratories in the Hauts-de-France region, such as the UPJV's Concerto-H project (an innovative process for photovoltaic cell technology) and the expertise of the BIOSURV platform.
