It allows the insertion of optical fiber into the tumor
It is used for breast tumors ≤ 1 cm in diameter
Once inserted, the fiber allows the tumor to be treated by Interstitial Laser Thermotherapy
The duration of treatment by laser radiation is less than 3 minutes.
