On Saturday, October 15, the Lille Society of Science, Agriculture, Arts, and Letters (SSAAL) awarded Norbert Benamou, president of SATT Nord, the Bollaert–Gavrian Prize for scientific and social achievements.

For Norbert Benamou, "this award above all recognizes the work carried out over the past four years by SATT Nord in facilitating the transfer of technology from public research to the business world. This honor bestowed upon us by a learned society more broadly reflects the recognition of our work by the scientific community in our region."

The Bollaert le Gavrian Prize rewards scientific and social achievements. It was created in 1930 by Félix Bollaert to perpetuate the memory of his father Edouard Bollaert, the first founding director of the Lens mines, and his father-in-law Paul le Gavrian, a former deputy for the Nord department.
