SATT NORD is pleased to announce that it has obtained ISO 9001 certification (version 2008 for the assembly and management of technology transfer projects.
This certification is the result of a quality management policy aimed at improving stakeholder satisfaction (researchers, partners, customers). Its implementation began in December 2013 with the recruitment of a quality manager and the involvement of all SATT staff in setting up a quality improvement program and drafting processes, among other things.
ISO 9001 certification means that SATT Nord meets the requirements of the standard, such as the ability to consistently provide a service that meets the requirements of its stakeholders and applicable regulatory requirements through the effective application of its quality management system, and in particular, the implementation of a continuous improvement process.
For SATT Nord, this quality management system makes it possible to assess the current situation and improve working methods to increase efficiency, establish the roles and responsibilities of each individual, and improve the quality of services and the satisfaction of its stakeholders (researchers, partners, etc.) by listening more closely (satisfaction survey*), taking requirements and needs into account, and improving the quality of information provided on the actions undertaken, while taking into account the economic, financial, legal, and human context.
* An initial satisfaction survey was conducted among all researchers in laboratories within the scope of SATT Nord. The results show that information is sufficiently regular and clear (average score: 7.4/10), 78% of researchers consider SATT Nord to be sufficiently responsive, and 70% consider the duration of the expertise to be appropriate. In conclusion, 70% of researchers would recommend SATT Nord.
