Discover the National Acceleration Strategy (SNA) Book on "Decarbonization of Industry," launched in 2022 by the French government as part of France 2030. The strategy aims to halve greenhouse gas emissions in 10 years and also supports the deployment of innovative technologies.
The CACTUS consortium
The challenge facing the CACTUS consortium is to helpstructure the technological offering by preparing the decarbonization solutions of tomorrow, developing new processes in line with the green industry sector, and promoting the emergence of a competitive French offering of industrial decarbonization solutions.
CACTUS alsosupports projects developed jointly with industrial partners, whether they are startups, SMEs, or large groups, in order to take into account constraints related to real-world conditions as early as possible in the maturation process and to minimize risk during the scale-up phases that follow the laboratory phases.
The CACTUS consortium, winner of the France 2030 Call for Projects, coordinated by PULSALYS and CNRS Innovation, has been awarded €22 million infunding for premature and mature projectsover five years and is working to support the emergence of disruptive solutions in academic laboratories.
The CACTUS organization
The CACTUS Consortium is coordinated by two leaders:CNRS Innovationfor early-stage development andSATT PULSALYSfor late-stage development. It is supported by18 members, including universities, SATTs, SATEs, and major partners in this field: Aliénor Transfert, AxLR, CNRS Innovation, Conectus, C-Valo, CY Paris Cergy University, Erganeo, IFPEN, Linksium, Ouest Valorisation, PSL University Paris, PULSALYS, SATT Nord, SATT Sud-Est, Sayens, Toulouse Tech Transfer, Grenoble Alpes University, Paris Cité University.
