at the 11th International Meeting of Forensic Entomology of the EAFE (European Association for Forensic Entomology), which will take place from April 9 to 11, 2014, at the research center of the Faculty of Medicine in Lille.
The ForenSeek program is expert software designed to improve the reliability and speed of forensic entomology analyses. This expertise platform, unique in the world, is designed to address the problems encountered by forensic experts when analyzing such samples. This service consists of two parts: a collaborative database, intended for research and freely accessible worldwide, and a forensic expertise support tool available on a paid subscription basis.
This tool is the result of several years of joint research between Lille 2 University and the École des Hautes Études d'Ingénieurs (HEI), part of the HEI – ISA – ISEN group. SATT Nord's financial and human investment has made it possible to bring this project to fruition and make it accessible to the entire scientific community.
A workshop dedicated to the launch of the platform will take place on April 10 at 5 p.m. at the research center of the Faculty of Medicine of Lille 2.
