Louis Schweitzer, General Commissioner for Investment in Champagne-Ardenne for the Regional Committee for Monitoring Future Investments

On Thursday, July 2, 2015, Louis Schweitzer, Commissioner General for Investment, was in Champagne-Ardenne to chair the Regional Committee for Monitoring Future Investments in Champagne-Ardenne. The committee meeting was held at the Champagne-Ardenne Technology Industries Training Center in Reims.
During the meeting, Louis Schweitzer, Commissioner General for Investment, and Jean-François Savy, Prefect of the Champagne-Ardenne region, reviewed the main projects that have benefited from the Future Investments Program in Champagne-Ardenne and their impact on the region's development.To date, the Champagne-Ardenne region has benefited from nearly €130 million from the Investments for the Future Program since its inception in 2010.

The Monitoring Committee provided an opportunity to take stock of the progress made on various projects, including the CONNECTRANSprojects ledby SATT Nord .

              Project cost: €273k (€168k from the Investments for the Future Program via SATT Nord, €105k from the Champagne-Ardenne Regional Council)
Organizations involved in Champagne-Ardenne: Société d’Accélération du Transfert de Technologie (SATT) Nord, URCA, Ardennes Departmental Council, Champagne-Ardenne Regional Council
The project involves transferring connected vehicle technology developed by URCA to Cirrios in order to generate economic wealth and employment. A proof of concept was carried out on vehicles belonging to the Ardennes Departmental Council. The start-up Cirrios benefited from this technology by acquiring a license to use the software part of the project.
