At the joint pavilion of the Picardy and Nord-Pas-de-Calais regions under the banner "Northern France Rail."
SIFER brings together all players in the rail industry for three days: major contractors, equipment manufacturers, suppliers, subcontractors, operators, and public transport managers. Exhibitors will have the opportunity to showcase their expertise and innovations in rolling stock, infrastructure, passenger transport technologies, and interior design.
Meet the laboratory teams at the UPJV booth:
– Eproad:A recognized research unit in the field of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies), itis based on the federation of scientific expertise in product engineering, material and process modeling , and operational research and decision support. Its goal is to optimize the management of industrial ecosystems by understanding industrial systems and their synergies, particularly in the areas of process optimization and logistics engineering.
– LTI: Innovative Technologies Laboratory focused on the efficient use of energy resources for sustainable development. This theme is the result of a combination of expertise in the field of construction materials, metallic materials, and composite materials. In addition to characterization (mechanical, hydraulic, and thermal), it includes their formulation and the study of their behavior during forming and/or machining.
– MIS: The MIS laboratory is a research unit in Information and Communication Sciences and Technologies (STIC), developing expertise in computer science, automation, robotics, and vision.
Among its five research teams, the "Control and Vehicles" (COVE) team works on the synthesis of robust control/command and diagnostic strategies for nonlinear and uncertain dynamic systems represented by multimodels with applications related to renewable energies and clean and safe vehicles.
With its 33 research teams, UPJV (Picardie Jules Verne University) offers nationally and internationally recognized expertise in engineering sciences, chemistry and materials, biotechnology and health, ICT, and social sciences and humanities.
In the strategic area of "Mobility and Urban Planning," the UPJV offers solutions in the following fields:
- Development/formulation of new materials (particularly agro-sourced)
- Characterization and modeling (structural analysis, mechanical testing, behavior modeling, correlated approach: analytical/numerical)
- Predictive maintenance (compliance and wear checks on parts)
- Energy storage
- Logistics
- Visualization
- Vehicle and control checks
