The Syndicat de l’Industrie du Médicament et Réactif Vétérinaires (SIMV) is organizing the first Animal Health Research Meetings on December 2 and 3, 2014, in Lille, hosted by Biofit (an international event entirely dedicated to open innovation and technology transfer in the life sciences sector).

They are organized in partnership with the Carnot Animal Health Institute, Eurasanté, the Medicen Paris Region competitiveness cluster, the Alliance for Research and Innovation in the Health Industries, and Technology Transfer Acceleration Companies.

The aim of these meetings is to initiate high-level exchanges between private research teams (veterinary and human pharmaceutical and reagent industries), public research teams, and biotechnology companies in order to promote French expertise in animal health, establish partnerships (public-private and private-private), and foster innovation. As partnerships are now an essential lever for innovation, this day will feature business-to-business (B2B) meetings.
