Bpifrance and the SATT Network organized the second edition of France Tech Transfer Invest (FTTI) in partnership with Tech Tour. Over two days, 40 start-ups created thanks to the SATTs' efforts were supported and gave pitches to more than 60 French and international investment funds specializing in the digital, biotechnology, health, and energy sectors, which are likely to support their growth.
The first edition enabled 25% of participating start-ups to enter into in-depth discussions with the investment funds present, and two fundraising campaigns were successful. Bpifrance and the SATT Network once again brought together a selection of start-ups born out of French university research and major European investment funds at the second edition of the FTTI to accelerate their growth.
Organized in the presence of Nicolas Dufourcq, CEO of Bpifrance, Jean-David Malo, Director of Open Innovation & Open Science – DG Research & Innovation at the European Commission, and Nicolas Carboni, President of SATT Conectus, on February 13 and 14, France Tech Transfert Invest connected 40 start-ups with more than 60 French and international investment funds. These start-ups were identified by the SATT Network and Bpifrance, then selected by expert investors in the four fields of digital technology, biotechnology, health, and energy.
Selected based on several criteria (value proposition, growth potential, team, market size, etc.), these 40 start-ups practiced their pitches before being invited to present to a jury of investors. They also took part in networking sessions and presentations throughout the two days. They are also joining Bpifrance's EuroQuity platform, which offers increased visibility and a digital service for connecting with partners to support their development.
Among the winners of this edition are two start-ups based on innovative technologies licensed by SATT Nord:
