On June 18, 19, and 20, 2019, MESHS is organizing the second edition of the Journées SHS Valo in Hauts-de-France.
These three days will provide an opportunity, through plenary conferences, site visits, and round tables, to discuss best practices for promoting research in the humanities and social sciences. These events are organized in partnership with the University of Picardie-Jules Verne and the University of Artois and funded under the ISI-MESHS State-Region Plan Contract.
The SHS Valo Days in Hauts-de-France, organized as part of the CPER ISI-MESHS (Interdisciplinarity . Structuring . Internationalization), provide an opportunity to reflect on the societal impacts of research in the humanities and social sciences
and to discuss partnerships between the academic world and socio-economic actors (businesses, local authorities, associations).
The aim of these days is to highlight best practices in promoting research in the humanities and social sciences, based on concrete examples provided by regional researchers, funded by MESHS or universities
in the region, and often co-funded by complementary partners.
Discussions are open to everyone, upon registration: www.meshs.fr/page/shsvalo2019
