Collaborative initiatives betweenacademic research and businessesrepresent significant opportunities for development, attractiveness, and reputation. It was in this context that the Force Awards were launched in 2015 by the Force Research and Enterprise association, complementing existing initiatives and organizations in this field.
The third edition of the Hauts-de-France Force Awards is launched witha call for applications starting on April 4, 2017,covering the Hauts-de-France region. The aim of the awards isto encourage the creation of regional partnerships between academic research and businessesby promoting exemplary initiatives and recognizing teams and candidates with remarkable innovative projects.
The 2017 Force Awards are open until September 8,with an awards ceremony scheduled for November 23 in the Lille metropolitan area. They are organized intofour categoriesto reflect the different types of academic/business research collaborations:
- BilateralCooperation Award(2 partners)
- Collaborativeproject award (> 2 partners)
- Thesisawardincollaboration with a company
- Prize for the creation of a research-basedstartup
AGrand Jury Prizewill also be awarded to one of the winners in the four categories identified above.
The prizes awarded to the winners rangefrom €3,000 to €10,000.
