Mark your calendars,
2nd edition of the technology and innovation café innovation.
November 27, 2019,
at the University of Lille, Cité Scientifique campus
"Labcom"? "Joint Team"? You may have already heard of these joint laboratories. They are bilateral partnerships that offer companies, particularly SMEs/mid-cap companies and public research organizations, the opportunity to collaborate closely over the long term in order to carry out effective R&D and innovation activities.
What are the advantages of implementing them? As part of the "Café des Technologies et de l'Innovation" (Technology and Innovation Café) co-organized by CNRS Hauts-de-France, SATT NORD, and the University of Lille, come and ask industry and academic experts all about these new devices! On the agenda:
Presentation of the terms and conditions for establishing a joint laboratory at the University of Lille and the process for its creation.
– Discussion of the benefits obtained by each party.
– Laboratory visits organized in small groups at the Cité Scientifique site.
– Sharing experiences... An enriching event that is not to be missed.
Keen to support research laboratories in their innovation and commercialization policies, CNRS Hauts-de-France, SATT NORD, and the University of Lille are organizing "the technology and innovation café."
The aim of this event is to provide an opportunity for discussion and information sharing on topics related to research commercialization in order to bring together the various players in the ecosystem. Open to researchers and businesses, this event will bring together laboratories, commercialization departments from academic partners in the Hauts-de-France region, I-SITE ULNE, research-based start-up founders, as well as incubators, competitiveness clusters, local authorities, and BPI.
Established in early 2013, the ANR (Agence Nationale de la Recherche) Labcom (Joint Laboratory) program aims to support the creation of joint laboratories between companies and public research organizations. At the same time, in 2016, the Hauts-de-France Regional Council launched the Joint Laboratory-Company Teams initiative. These two initiatives are designed to increase the potential for industrial partnerships and knowledge transfer among academic research stakeholders. The University of Lille currently has around 20 Labcoms and Joint Teams. These are the result of partnerships with local and national companies.
