SATT Nord, a technology transfer acceleration company, and MEDEF Hauts-de-France, the leading network of entrepreneurs north of Paris, have formed a partnership to facilitate the alignment of SATT Nord institutions' research offerings with companies' innovation strategies.

In a context of economic uncertainty and given the low level of R&D investment in companies in the Hauts-de-France region, the aim of this joint initiative is to bring the worlds of public research and business closer together by removing technological barriers and finding financing solutions.
This partnership translates into:
– Identifying companies that need to acquire new technologies and researchers who can meet their needs
– Offering companies access to the technological expertise of SATT laboratories
– Helping companies identify public funding available for business/lab projects
– Promoting the research work of researchers
– Organizing meetings between researchers, start-ups, and companies in the Hauts-de-France region on a specific theme.

According to Patrice Pennel, president of the regional MEDEF, " the need for innovation has been reinforced by the crisis: it is more than necessary to modernize our production apparatus and prioritize the transformation of businesses. To this end, collaboration with research is proving to be THE solution for those who want to increase their performance."

According to Fabrice Lefebvre, president of SATT Nord, " SATT Nord actively contributes to transforming the knowledge of researchers in public laboratories into innovation that benefits local businesses. As part of its partnership with the regional MEDEF, it aims to strengthen its role as a trusted third party, helping businesses of all sizes to acquire the technologies they need to transform and remain competitive."
