WAVELY raises €600,000 to finance its development and heads to CES 2018!

Lille-based start-up WAVELY develops energy-autonomous acoustic sensors. The company has raised €600,000 from FINOVAM, FIRA NORD-EST, and Bpifrance.

WAVELY is a spin-off of the Institute of Electronics, Microelectronics, and Nanotechnology (CNRS laboratory) and was founded by Nicolas Côté, Marion Aubert, and Alexis Vlandas in April 2017.

Analyzing noise is what WAVELY does with its smart sensors in three areas of application:

– acoustic detection of gas leaks (ongoing partnership with SIM Engineering on behalf of TOTAL)
– acoustic identification of malfunctions in industrial environments for predictive maintenance

– monitoring noise pollution in smart cities or on construction sites

This funding will enable WAVELY to accelerate its development by strengthening its technical and sales teams, and to continue R&D by integrating machine learning into its solutions.

WAVELY is supported in its development by EuraTechnologies, Le Village by CA, and is engaged in a technology co-maturation program with SATT Nord. Winners of LMI Innovation's "pépite" award with an honorary loan of €80,000, its founders have benefited from the Hauts de France Regional Council's incubation fund and Bpifrance's French Tech grant.

WAVELY will be present at CES 2018 in Las Vegas from January 9 to 12 with La Poste/French IOT.
