For eight months, La Tribune brings together promising entrepreneurs in various categories in a local competition, with the winners competing in a national grand final and awards ceremony in Paris.
France is brimming with young talent who are driving exceptional entrepreneurial dynamism across the country. La Tribune has been encouraging this talent since 2013 with the Young Entrepreneur Award, revealing the most innovative start-ups in each region.
These young entrepreneurs come from all walks of life. What drives their success? Above all, passion. It is what drives them to innovate, to develop new technologies and new services. They all dream of changing the world, rebuilding solidarity, and sometimes even becoming the next Steve Jobs. They are ambitious and courageous. They are afraid of nothing. It is from this perspective that La Tribune, the leading economic media outlet in major cities, encourages them with the Young Entrepreneur Award.

To apply for the 2017 BNP Paribas Young Entrepreneur Award, you must meet the following five basic criteria:
- Be between 16 and 40 years old* in 2016 (date of birth between 1977 and 2001).
- Be a director of a company domiciled in France.
- Control at least 10% of the capital.
- Company created no later than August 31, 2016. **
- Have a minimum annual turnover of €100,000 **
- For those under 18, please provide parental consent.
Criteria not considered for candidates in the Start category.
The contest consists of five stages:
- Call for applications from October 26 to December 31, 2017
- Regional selections from January 22 to February 16, 2018
- Call for votes from February 19 to March 2, 2018
- Oral exam on March 6, 2018
- Ceremony between March 19 and 30, 2018
