RENEW: a biological solution that promotes nerve regeneration using an allogeneic conduit derived from Wharton’s jelly

Description

The RENEW technology is based on the development of novel conduits made from Wharton’s jelly hydrogels, which facilitate axonal nerve regeneration.

These grafts are intended for use as allografts in patients with facial nerve rupture or other peripheral nerve injuries.

This technology eliminates the need for xenogeneic materials, reducing the risk of pathogen or allergen transmission, and it limits fibrosis compared to synthetic conduits
