Description
The MAMAN medical device allows the pressure exerted on the fetal head to be secured using connected forceps. These forceps make it possible to control the trajectories for the baby's exit as well as to control the pressure exerted on the newborn's head.
The prototype was tested on a mannequin by various obstetricians.
Virtual reality software was developed to carry out the training.
Possible applications:
•Training in the use of forceps
•Ensuring the safe use of forceps during childbirth
