SATT Nord
In a nutshell
Created in July 2012, SATT Nord aims to facilitate, simplify, and accelerate the transfer of technology and knowledge from public research to businesses of all sizes. It is supported by research institutions that are shareholders in the regions it covers (Hauts-de-France and Champagne-Ardenne).
SATT NORD identifies and evaluates inventions originating in research laboratories. An investment fund enables SATT Nord to protect these inventions by registering intellectual property rights and to promote them by investing in innovation projects aimed at facilitating their transfer through the creation of start-ups or by granting operating licenses to companies.
Our value creation strategy covers the entire innovation chain, from start to finish:
- Project monitoring and engineering
- Detection of innovations
- Identification of intellectual property
and markets - Investment
- Placing on the market
